This is # 3 of a series, that employs a monoprint technique with an overlay of fabric pieces, threads and beading. I am often fascinated by the beauty of small gatherings of thread, layering of ribbon and the texture of woven material. It seems the remnant of a craft making project is just as beautiful as the actual piece! These pieces which are called fabric collage, are mounted on heavy card stock and come with an envelope for gift giving. They arewonderful also, as a small framed piece of art.
